James O’Connell is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in the UK.
After a stint signed to Islands Records as an artist, James has forged a career creating music and sound design for advertising and film. He has created original music for high profile campaigns for brands such as Ford, Lexus, Hendricks, Dove and Iams and has worked on numerous award-winning shorts.
More recently, James has begun focussing on his solo artist project and has released solo piano works on 1631 Recordings. His first full length album, Light Forms, blends piano and strings with electronics, released in June 2023.
