Cora Miron is a London-based Film and TV composer. She enjoys working across multiple genres and combining traditional and modern approaches.
Cora’s latest score is for Mrs Sidhu Investigates, a 4-part mystery comedy-drama for Acorn, starring Meera Syal and Craig Parkinson, which premiered on Acorn TV in September 2023.
Her score for the dark comedy-drama Lonely Laura and her Sister Niamh was nominated for Best Composing at Underwire Film Festival 2019. The animated musical Meow or Never was shortlisted for the 2020 GSA BAFTA Student Film Awards, awarded Best Short Film at Women in Animation Class of 2020 and the Next Generation Award at Digicon 6 Asia.
Before focusing on film scoring, Cora trained as a concert pianist. She holds a BA and an MA in Composition from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy and an MA in Film Composition from the National Film & Television School.
