Over the last ten years, Manners McDade have worked as music consultants on a range of TV and film productions ranging from Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy (dir. Garth Jennings) and Glorious 39 (dir. Stephen Poliakoff), to long running C4 series Shameless and BBC’s Doctor Who.
We represent Iain Cooke, whose CV includes credits for 2012 BAFTA winning drama The Fades, Sky Atlantic’s first British original drama Hit&Miss, starring Chloe Sevigny, for which Iain won a Music & Sound Award 2013, Stephen Butchard’s thriller Good Cop, and BBC1 dramas Waterloo Road and Call The Midwife. Iain also worked on feature film Spike Island, revolving around the Stone Roses’ epochal gig of 1990; Syrup, a film based on the cult novel by Max Barry starring Amber Heard, and Lucy Gannon’s Frankie. Iain is currently working on 4 part BBC1 drama What Remains about the discovery of a body in the attic of a London apartment block and the new series of cult young offender sci-fi comedy drama Misfits.
We also represent Matt Kaleda, whose credits include projects as diverse as Luther and current ratings-smash Mrs Brown’s Boys.
We have a wealth of knowledge of music publishing issues including the blanket licensing regulations and we believe that knowledge of how a composer scores music is integral to the role of Music Supervisor.
